Every shampoo bar is formulated as a 2-in-1 — cleansing and conditioning agents built right into the bar, so most people don't need a separate conditioner at all. If you're someone who always reaches for conditioner no matter what shampoo you use — thicker, curlier, or drier hair especially — the conditioner bar is there for exactly that.

How to Use
Shampoo bars:
- Wet hair thoroughly with warm water
- Rub the bar directly between your hands or over wet hair to build lather
- Massage into scalp and through hair like liquid shampoo
- Rinse well
Conditioner bar:
- After shampooing, run the bar over wet hair — focus on mid-lengths and ends
- Massage or comb through
- Rinse, or leave a small amount in for extra detangling on drier hair

What to Expect
Because these bars are made in small batches with real ingredients and no synthetic stabilizers, slight variations in color and texture are completely normal from batch to batch. This doesn't affect performance — every bar is pressed and cured the same careful way.
It's also normal for hair to go through a short adjustment period when switching from commercial shampoo — this typically resolves within 1-2 weeks as your scalp and hair recalibrate.
Storage
Store your bars on a draining soap dish or tray between uses so they can dry fully — this extends their life significantly. Keep away from standing water and direct heat. This Trio has a discount on our wooden soap dish, grab one of those to help keep them dry between washes.

Is this actually enough shampoo to try all three bars?
Yes — each Trio bar is a generous 20g sample, enough for around 15 washes of each, so you can genuinely tell how each formula works for your hair. The conditioner bar is 40g and will last you a lot longer since it doesn't lather.
Are these safe for kids?
Yes — every bar in this listing is fragrance-free and formulated to be gentle for sensitive scalps, including kids. We recommend consulting your pediatrician for infant use.
Do I need to use the conditioner bar too?
Not necessarily — our shampoo bars are 2-in-1, so they already cleanse and condition in one step. The conditioner bar is there for hair that always wants a little extra: thicker, curlier, or drier hair especially. Our testers loved the conditioner bar so we added it to The Trio.
Why does my hair feel different at first?
